Yes. You can import CSV exports from Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent and more. The import wizard maps your chart of accounts automatically.

Go to Settings → Team, click 'Invite member' and enter their email. They'll receive an invitation with their own login — no password sharing required.

Bank feeds refresh every 4–6 hours by default. If yours is stale, go to Bank Feeds, select the connection and click 'Refresh now'. If the problem persists, re-authorise the connection.

Open the transaction in the reconciliation queue and click 'Add a note' or 'Create journal'. You can also split a transaction across multiple accounts if it covers several costs.

Yes. The reconciliation dashboard shows all accounts in one queue. You can filter by account, date range or match confidence to focus on what matters.

Each automatic match gets a confidence score from 0–100%. High-confidence matches (above 90%) are grouped for bulk approval; lower scores are flagged for manual review.

Yes. AccBooks is HMRC-recognised software for Making Tax Digital. You can file VAT returns directly to HMRC via the built-in MTD filing module.

AccBooks automatically detects reverse-charge transactions based on supplier setup and line-item descriptions. Boxes 1, 4, 6 and 7 on your VAT return are populated correctly, with a full explanation on each flagged transaction.

You can only file one period at a time to HMRC, but AccBooks allows you to prepare and review multiple drafts simultaneously before submitting them in order.

Use the 'Voluntary disclosure' feature under VAT → Returns to create an adjustment for the next period, or contact HMRC directly for errors over the disclosure threshold (currently £10,000).

AccBooks supports FRS 102, FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105 for UK statutory accounts, plus HMRC-compliant CT600 computations and iXBRL tagging for Companies House.

Yes. You can add, rename and reclassify accounts under Settings → Chart of Accounts. Any custom account is automatically available in reports and reconciliation.

On the Accountant or Enterprise plan, open Reports → Consolidated and select the entities to include. Intercompany eliminations are calculated automatically.

Yes. Every report has a one-click export to both PDF and Excel (XLSX). Branded cover pages are included in the PDF export if you've uploaded your firm's logo.

All customer data is stored in UK data centres (AWS eu-west-2). Backups are encrypted and stored in a separate UK region. We do not transfer data outside the UK without your explicit consent.

No. Your data is never used to train shared models. All AI models run in dedicated, isolated tenants.

Yes. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. You retain full access until the end of the current billing period and can export all your data at any time.

Go to Settings → Billing → Invoice history. All invoices are available as PDFs and include a VAT receipt if you've entered your company VAT number.
