Getting started with AccBooks AI in 5 minutes

Introduction

AccBooks AI was built to take the manual grind out of accounts production. This short guide will walk you through your first five minutes with the product.

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email and password. You’ll start a 14-day free trial — no credit card required.

2. Upload a document

Drag a PDF bank statement, an Excel sheet, or a folder of receipts into the dashboard. AccBooks AI extracts dates, amounts, descriptions and VAT automatically.

3. Review the AI categorisation

Every transaction is classified into a chart-of-accounts category. Anything the AI is not confident about is flagged for your review. Click to confirm or reassign.

4. Generate your accounts

Once your transactions are categorised, AccBooks produces your Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trading Account and VAT return in one click.

5. Export and file

Download accountant-ready PDFs and Excel working papers. HMRC-compatible VAT formats are supported out of the box.
